Tamara Khutat

Tamara is a senior associate with extensive experience in a range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and project finance.

Tamara's practice has focused on advising corporations on private mergers and acquisitions, including the negotiation of share purchase agreements and advising on regulatory and compliance issues.

She has also represented numerous corporations and financial institutions on the development and financing of energy projects, including advising on financing and project documents. She led the firm’s team advising an international financial institution and other senior lenders on the financing of numerous photovoltaic solar power projects in Jordan.

Tamara also has extensive experience in general corporate work, including advising clients on issues relating to construction contracts, hotel management agreements and IP-licensing-related agreements.

Mohammad began his practice in 2012 with another Jordanian law firm. Prior to doing so, he completed a full-time training course in legal studies at the Bournemouth Business School International in the UK, participated in different research projects with the Jordanian Bar Association and volunteered as a trainee teacher in the UK.

Ali Tayeh

Ali is an associate at Obeidat Law, with experience in a wide range of matters including issues arising under or relating to labor law, corporate law, and telecom law.  He is skilled in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing various types of agreements including employment agreements, commercial agreements, sale and purchase agreements, construction and real estate agreements.

Salameh Al Jbour

Salameh is a skilled litigator who represents corporations and businesses in all sorts of disputes, including civil, commercial and customs disputes. He has extensive experience in drafting agreements and contracts and advising clients on a wide variety of issues, especially those arising under the Jordanian Labor Laws and companies’ law.

Salameh is also well-versed in dealing with all government entities and regulatory bodies, including representing clients in front of, among others, the Ministry of Labor, the Department of Lands and Surveys, the Investment Commission and the Free Zones Authority.

Lana Maani

In her practice, Lana represents multinational financial institutions and borrowers on the development and financing of a wide range of renewable energy projects in Jordan and advises on local law aspects relating to the project and finance agreements. She also advises companies in negotiating and reviewing different agreements such as shareholder agreements and share purchase agreements on a variety of merger and acquisition transactions.

Lana's experience extends to engaging in due diligence exercises as well as drafting, reviewing and advising on other types of contracts and agreements, including licensing and sponsorship agreements, non-disclosure agreements and franchise agreements.

Prior to joining our team, Lana interned with the IRS at its Office of the Associate Chief Counsel (Passthroughs & Special Industries) in Washington DC. She also gained public interest experience interning with Lawyers Without Borders in Washington DC as well as immigration experience working with Laura Devine Solicitors in their London offices.

Lana is a member of the New York State Bar Association and is a graduate of the Notre Dame Law School.

Rania Alnaber

In her practice, Rania focuses primarily on arbitration matters, serving as an assistant to the arbitral tribunal and counsel.  She is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb).

Her experience extends to representing suppliers and clients in drafting and negotiating a wide range of IT contracts, including cloud service contracts, IT outsourcing contracts and service level agreements.  Rania also advises on a wide range of matters related to software IP rights and high-end commercial and construction contracts.

Prior to joining Obeidat Law, Rania was a legal consultant at the Royal Hashemite Court.
